Je ne résiste pas au plaisir de rapporter ici ce qu'a déclaré Ken Loach suite au décès de celle qui fut l'une des figures de proue de l'ultralibéralisme et du dumping social :

... Rappelons tout de même que, une fois retirée de la vie politique, elle a poursuivi une brillante carrière de consultante pour ... le fleuron mondial de l'industrie du tabac : Philips Morris.
En tant que Pemier ministre, elle s'était à plusieurs reprises exprimée clairement sur les ravages causés par le tabac, et encore en 1989.
Les dollars de Philips Morris ont eu raison de la " fibre humanitaire " de la dame de fer.

Thatcher was a non-smoker who spoke out against tobacco several times while Prime Minister.
The Independent (of London) reported that Philip Morris paid for a 70th birthday bash for Ms. Thatcher on 23 October 1995 in Washington, D.C. 800 guests attended and the estimated cost of the party was $1 million.' "
